he Addams Family has been entertaining audiences for over eighty years now. It was an invention of the American cartoonist Charles Addams. The family has been appearing in a series of 150 unrelated single-panel cartoons, and about half of them were published in the American weekly magazine “The New Yorker” over the course of 50 years, beginning in 1938.
